On Saturday 23rd September Idesco personnel gathered to mix a little recreation with rehearsing valuable safety skills. Everyone learned how to extinguish different types fires of in a controlled setting provided by Securitas’ dedicated fire safety demonstration truck. Employees also reviewed safety protocols and the locations of fire extinguishers, fire blankets, first aid and workplace emergency exits.
Fire extinguishing skills can be of immense value in a true emergency. Rehearsing them in an environment that simulates a real emergency builds the confidence to act decisively in the home as well as work.
