Joona Tuomikoski is one of Idesco product development team’s newest reinforcements. While his primary focus is designing code for mobile solutions, he occasionally gets tasked to server configuration and updating.
Joona had an immediate “hands-on” introduction to Idesco’s latest products when he began last fall. “It’s very rewarding working here, because I get to see my work resulting in concrete features of a new application”, he admits.
A jovial, peaceful working atmosphere has greeted Joona at the office most days, despite how many people continue working remotely. “It is easy to ask for advice or help colleagues when they sit close by. Communication and co-operation are more convenient face-to-face”, Joona notes. “Together, it feels rewarding solving problems, fixing each other’s code. This lets you learn something new yourself, also”, he continues.
Joona balances office days with recreation in a variety of ball games, with floorball, badminton and football closest to his heart. He spends weekends relaxing with friends and sharing good food.
