Faster installation and better performance with Idesco plates
You can significantly enhance reading distance when you pay attention to the conditions in your reader’s environment. Did you know Idesco Installation and Insulation plates can shield your reader from electromagnetic interference, often significantly improving its performance?
All Idesco access control readers operate also on metal, but metal surfaces may sometimes shorten reading distance. Idesco’s plastic Installation Plate, installed between your reader and a metal surface, lifts your reader away from interfering electromagnetic eddy waves created by the conductive metal surface, enhancing reading distance. As added benefit, this installation plate will conveniently cover old screw holes in the wall from previous devices while providing convenient egress for the reader’s installation cable.
