Idesco’s plastic Installation Plate, installed between your reader and a metal surface, lifts your reader away from interfering electromagnetic eddy waves created by the conductive metal surface, enhancing reading distance. As added benefit, this installation plate will conveniently cover old screw holes in the wall from previous devices while providing convenient egress for the reader’s installation cable.
