EPC 2.0 readers with OSDPv2 soon available
Idesco EPC 2.0 readers will soon begin supporting OSDPv2’s secure, bi-directional reader-controller communication. EPC 2.0 readers’ UHF frequency allows reliable transactions out 10 meters, sometimes further, depending on surface materials in the surrounding environment.
EPC 2.0’s robust reliability makes it a popular choice in vehicle identification, logistics and industrial settings, whereas the smaller profile EPC 2.0 Compact is ideal in settings like hospitals, where “hands-free” identification is only needed out to a couple meters.
