Importance of access control cyber security keeps growing
Thank you, all of you who visited us at Belgium’s New Security exhibition and at SECTECH Norway in recent weeks.
The security focus of those exhibitions emphasized the growing importance of access control. During them, Markku Ruuskanen and Ari Rossi gave presentations highlighting both access control and cyber security. This is because today’s security threats don’t come only from the hacking of access control cards and tags.
Changing global conditions now force the security industry to carefully consider sourcing: where critical devices are bought, with whom one may entrust critical access control data.
Additionally, the updated NIS2 directive impacts security critical businesses by tightening the requirements for their cyber security.
