EPC Anticollision adjustable range
Idesco’s new EPC Anticollision reader makes it easy for you to adjust the length of your reading area, depending on what your reading application demands. This distinctive option enables you to adjust the transmitting power of your reader so that it interrogates transponders only within a limited distance from the reader. Such a feature is invaluable in vehicle identification settings to ensure readers covering two side-by-side gates only interrogate transponders travelling through their own gate.
Because of their anticollision capability, these new Idesco EPC readers can also interrogate multiple transponders simultaneously. You can also direct read and write commands only to certain transponder populations or even to individual transponders. This is particularly valuable if you only need to monitor certain transponders in your reading range.
In the Idesco tradition, the design of Idesco’s new passive long-range EPC readers emphasises configurable parameters and flexible applications. For example, the Idesco EPC 5 reader not only can possess two antennas, but both of them may be configured as independent readers! This provides significant cost-savings, for example, in parking applications where you can deploy a single reader instead of two for monitoring traffic flow in opposed directions on a single lane.

Thanks to all our visitors at SECTECH 2011
To all of you who came to our booth at the SECTECH 2011 exhibition inStockholmplease accept our heartfelt thank you! It was good to see all of our old friends, make new ones and visit with all of you. As you know, we displayed our new serial data bus readers, including the OSDP-compliant Access 8 CD
reader family, in addition to our new Badicio 1000 controller. We were particularly proud having these products highlight our trend of making reader-controller communication easier and simpler for you, in addition to our traditional commitment to build products that also simplify your system maintenance and control with easy future system updates.
Again, thank you so much for your visit and patronage!
We have been developing a centralized mobile credential service to let your access control system push credentials down into your users’ phones.
